Depends on what you're calling growth. Gutenberg was 8y ago and like FSE, it's kinda still a mess (bad DX and editing UX). DataViews stands out as a recent positive improvement that is probably not getting as much attention as it should. Not much noteworthy IMHO for 10y.

This wasn't a sudden pivot: in Nov 2024 we shared that new development on the current Product Editor beta was paused while we moved toward a more WordPress-native direction based on DataForms/DataViews (developer.woocommerce.com/20…). We also shared recent work in that direction: the catalog management POC: developer.woocommerce.com/20…. The 11.0 change retires only the block product editor. It doesn't remove product data, checkout blocks, or product blocks.
