I will now escalate my #privacy concerns and #userrights through official channels because their dismissive attitude is unacceptable. Even their #dataProtection officer refuses to respond, showing complete neglect for user trust and #transparency.

What happens if a security device is physically stolen? If the data isn't encrypted at the core layer, your entire network topology is exposed. Hardware-level encryption ensures that even if the physical drive is removed, the data remains an unreadable vault.

I submitted a follow-up to the Data Protection Commission @DPCIreland on 25 May 2026 regarding an existing complaint.
The DPC had previously advised that they aim to respond within 20 working days.
I had already followed up on 9 April and 13 May, but received no update.
No member of the public should have to keep chasing basic responses from a public body.
Accountability, transparency and timely communication matter.

On the occasion of the United Kingdom’s National Day, we spotlight a digital governance model in which online safety, AI, data, cyber resilience, and platform power are a high priority in the UK’s digital governance.
The UK’s Online Safety Act 2023 and Ofcom’s 2025 child-safety and age-verification duties require platforms to act more directly against illegal and harmful content. Additionally, the UK is expanding AI oversight, reforming data rules, strengthening cyber resilience, and treating cloud and data centres as critical infrastructure.

@OpenAI is facing a multistate investigation as U.S. attorneys general probe ChatGPT’s potential impact on users, including concerns around user safety, data handling, engagement practices, and risks to minors and vulnerable individuals.
The inquiry reportedly includes a subpoena seeking internal documents just as @OpenAI prepares for a potential IPO.
The AI race is no longer just about innovation—it’s becoming a test of accountability, safety, and regulation.
Will this shape the future rules of AI, or slow down the industry’s biggest players?
