A New Standard for Villa Luxury in Barbados In @caribbeanliving, @JaroneAsh explores the unmatched elegance of Laughing Waters, the premier private villa on Barbados’ Platinum Coast. Set within the exclusive Sandy Lane Estate, Laughing Waters is a 32,000-square-foot sanctuary of privacy and opulence, offering accommodations for up to 24 guests across three thoughtfully designed residences. "Monumental in scope and breathtaking in its Palladian elegance… the island's largest and most expensive private villa has redefined lavish, luxury living in Barbados," writes Ashkenazi. With interiors by London-based designer Emma Pearson, a treehouse dining area, koi ponds, and a cinema with a 145" screen, this villa is as much an architectural masterpiece as it is a hospitality haven. Add in full access to the neighboring AAA Five Diamond resort, complete with three championship golf courses, gourmet dining, a spa, it’s no surprise that Laughing Waters is raising the bar for high-end Caribbean escapes. For travel editors and lifestyle writers exploring next-level villa design, Caribbean luxury, or trendsetting properties in 2025, we’d love to connect. #DesignDestinations | Tucked away in Berlin's chic Prenzlauer Berg neighbourhood, the Stadtbad Oderberg is a captivating fusion of history and modernity💧 The dreamy bathhouse was designed by German architect Ludwig Hoffmann, and it opened in 1902 as a communal bathing space for local residents to improve the hygiene of the growing neighbourhood brimming with breweries and factories. The impressive design was well thought-out: instead of skylights, highlights on the side walls ensured pleasant lighting. The roof construction also prevented moisture on the ceiling. The bathhouse closed in 1986 and remained shut until 2012 when extensive renovations began in line with its listed status. It finally reopened in 2016 inside the boutique Hotel Oderberger Berlin, with guaranteed public access to the pool. 📸 Dirk Schmurkov (schmurkov on Instagram)

#DesignDestinations | One of London’s busiest tube stations is home to a colourful display of mosaics, sure to brighten up your commute 🚇 Designed by Scottish pop artist Eduardo Paolozzi, the dazzling panels of tiles at Tottenham Court Road station are one of the most famous public works of art on the London Underground. Installed in 1986, Paolozzi’s eccentric designs cover 950 square metres of the station. Paolozzi worked across furniture, ceramics, print, and fashion – and one of his magnificent sculptures, ‘Head of Invention’, sits just outside the Design Museum. The mosaics at Tottenham Court Road reflect Paolozzi’s interest in the meeting between humans and machinery and draw upon the bold screen prints for which he is most well-known. 📸 1 & 2: bordoi11 on Instagram

#DesignDestinations | Matisse’s Chapelle du Rosaire is a must-visit destination for art and architecture enthusiasts 💙 Located in the French Riviera town of Vence, Matisse started the project in 1949 and worked on it for over 4 years. The chapel features murals and stained-glass windows. For the stained-glass, Matisse limited his palette to three colours which creates a calm yet vibrant intensity as light beams through. The chapel is now regarded as one the artist's finest masterpieces and one of the greatest religious sanctuaries of the 20th century. 📸 maxlangu on Instagram

#DesignDestinations | A look at the wonderful Jardin Majorelle, located in Marrakech, Morocco 🌵 Originally dating back to the 1920s, this botanical garden was created by French artist Jacques Majorelle. The garden was purchased by fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent in the 1980s to save it from being sold to hotel developers. The garden is a living work of art, with exotic plants from around the world such as water lilies and banana trees. At the centre of the garden is a bright blue villa, designed by architect Paul Sinoir. The villa was designed in a cubist style with strong geometric shapes and was painted in 'bleu Majorelle', after the owner. 📸 marta.agnello on Instagram
