Skill Development Scam: This is the most prominent case, involving the alleged misappropriation of approximately ₹371 crore meant for the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC).
Accusation: The CID alleged that public funds were diverted to shell companies under the guise of setting up "Centers of Excellence" with Siemens and DesignTech.
Status: In a major turn of events in February 2026, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) cleared Naidu of all charges in this case, stating its probe found no evidence of his involvement in activities connected to the proceeds of crime.
AP FiberNet Scam: Naidu was named the "prime accused" in a chargesheet regarding a ₹114 crore (some reports cite ₹330 crore) scam during Phase-1 of the FiberNet project.
Accusation: The CID alleged manipulation of the tender process to favor specific companies, such as Tera Software, while Naidu held the energy and infrastructure portfolio.
Amaravati Land Scam: A chargesheet was filed in March 2024 accusing Naidu and others of a ₹4,400 crore scam involving "assigned lands" in the state's capital region.
Accusation: Allegations include the illegal acquisition of 1,100 acres of land intended for SC/ST communities to benefit associates and family-linked entities.
Inner Ring Road (IRR) Alignment Case: This case involves alleged irregularities in the alignment of the Amaravati Inner Ring Road to benefit certain real estate interests.
