Google just launched the first native Gemini desktop app for Mac.
Built as a Swift prototype, the app runs natively on Apple Silicon and is available now for macOS Sequoia and later. You can download it directly at gemini.google/mac.
The team developed it in just a few days using Antigravity, Google's new agent-first AI IDE that handles planning, coding, and execution autonomously.
Key features include contextual window sharing, a global shortcut (Option Space), and built-in tools for image and video generation.
