People trying to learn tech in public while growing on X really go through a lot.
Youβre learning, building, posting, networking, making mistakes publicly, and still showing up every day.
Some people will ignore you. Some will unfollow you. Some will criticize your beginner projects.
But every experienced developer you admire today was once a beginner with 0 followers and lots of questions.
Keep building. Keep sharing. Keep learning in public.
Your consistency will eventually be louder than your doubts. π

What if your next role came with real support behind it?
When you join the Bydrec talent network, itβs not just about getting placed into a job. Itβs about being part of something that actually invests in your long-term growth.
Youβre backed by a team that advocates for your career, not just your output.
Youβre connected to a community of highly skilled Latin American developers who are building, learning, and growing alongside you. And the support doesnβt stop once youβre placedβwe stay involved before, during, and after.
We help you access opportunities that reflect your true market value. We check in on how youβre doing, not just how youβre performing. And as your career evolves, weβre right there helping you push for growth, recognition, and the next step forward.
This is why our placements last. On average, developers stay with their teams for over three years.
That kind of consistency doesnβt happen by chance. It happens when people feel supported.

The open source community has a word for developers who take
but never give back.
They don't say it out loud. But they notice.
Here's the uncomfortable truth about OSS consumption:
The average developer uses dozens of open source packages daily.
Most have never filed a single issue. Never opened a PR.
Never left a comment. Never starred a repo they actually use.
That's not a crime. But it is a pattern worth examining.
Because open source only works if the ratio of takers to givers
doesn't become completely unsustainable.
Here's what "giving back" actually looks like at every level β
no senior engineering title required:
β Star the repo β takes 2 seconds, signals real usage
β File a clear, reproducible bug report β worth more than you think
β Answer someone else's issue β you know this; share it
β Improve one sentence of documentation β it's always there
β Share the project with your network β distribution is valuable
β Sponsor a maintainer β $5/month is real money to a solo dev
β Write about how you use it β tutorials compound forever
β Open a PR β even a typo fix changes your relationship with the code
The open source tools you depend on were built by people
who gave something back.
