📌Minister of Public Works and Transport #Fayez_Rasamny and General Security Director General Major General Hassan Choucair, accompanied by a delegation of senior officers, on Tuesday visited the General Security centers at the Lebanese–Syrian border in Masnaa, where they inspected the newly installed fortifications and equipment. 🔹The delegation also examined a plot of land designated for the establishment of a new General Security complex that will include both the entry and exit terminals, with a subsequent plan to expand it to host Lebanese Customs and an Army Intelligence detachment, under the supervision of the Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR). 📌Minister of Public Works and Transport #Fayez_Rasamny toured villages and towns across the Upper Metn region, responding to an invitation from MP Hadi Abou Al-Hassan, Secretary of the Democratic Gathering bloc. Everyone hears about the Port of Tripoli and Qlayaat Airport; the North is rich in its people and potential, yet the state has long neglected it. Once we implement the road to the North, genuine self-driven development will follow.” 🔹The Minister also highlighted “the national vision of leader Walid Jumblatt and MP Taymour Jumblatt, whose guidance has been clear that the ministry’s work must be carried out equally across all regions, and this is exactly what we are doing.” He explained that since assuming office, he had “reviewed the expenditure records of previous years and restored balance to the ministry’s allocations,” underscoring that “public funds come from taxpayers and must never be spent vindictively, but patriotically.” Rasamny reaffirmed that “the Ministry of Public Works operates with fairness across all governorates and districts.” 🔹Rasamny went on to note: “Some regions were deprived for years, and we are giving them priority today. Others were destroyed by Israeli aggression and deserve exceptional attention.
