@MattHaneySF should crack down on platinum tickets, dynamic pricing. You know the actual things that make ticket prices go higher.

We asked users to be brutally honest about our products. Then we filmed the team watching the feedback together. Three things we have learned building DocketMaster, MeetSession, and JudicAI: 🎯 A stagnant product is a dying product. Ship or lose them. 🎯 Direct feedback is uncomfortable because it shows you the exact gap between what you built and what they needed. 🎯 Users tell you the symptom. Your job is to find the disease. Building software in Nigeria teaches you humility fast. What is the most honest feedback you have ever received? #ProductDevelopment #NigeriaTech #DevonTechnologies #UserFeedback

Live Nation and Ticketmaster violated the consent decree within months of the merger being approved, wiping out my festival. Fans and independent promoters are still paying the price for it today.

How am i defending them? I’m stating facts, their monopoly hurts competing promoters and ticket companies that need larger margins to fight them. Do you really not understand that after we break them up there is additional work to do in order to lower prices?

Randy defending the monopoly again didn’t they just get found guilty on all counts ?

Ah yes, the corporate executives famous for lowering prices to help fans and not the shareholders. Always an easy sell in the board room. Absolute fairy tale land this guy lives in. Artists charging $150 for a ticket then a fan being able to see them for $25. That helps fans.

The flywheel generates more revenue for the infrastructure. The question is who owns the infrastructure when the culture that fills those venues doesn’t own the catalog that built the audience.

What you’re missing is their monopoly allows them to charge lower prices and pay artists more. The monopoly is over competing promoters and venues not over fans. Their “flywheel” allows them to generate significantly more ancillary rev which is unfair to indie promoters & venues

I hope the money stolen from my tour was hidden really well. I’d hate for there to be money laundering, embezzlement, etc.
