The restriction for Temporary Residents buying Existing Property as PPOR only came into affect Apr. '25 and is a only a temporary measure. Loophole is van buy existing and knock down/rebuild. Govt. still allowing them to buy anything regarded as 'new', i.e. a dogbox in the sky
