🚨 TrueSightKiller: A decade-old driver, still validly signed, now used to kill EDRs before ransomware deploys. Hash-blocking doesn’t stand a chance. Originally part of Adlice’s RogueKiller suite, truesight.sys is being exploited in the wild by multiple threat groups. @_CPResearch_ first uncovered the campaign, exposing how attackers abuse a Windows signing loophole to load pre-2015 drivers on modern systems. At MagicSword, we use loldrivers to stay ahead of abused, signed drivers. Giving defenders a way to block what attackers trust most: legitimacy itself. #TaxiFare #DriverExploitation #EVPolicy #PublicInterest

THE BIG QUESTION: @Grok why is it when your @xAI code blocks are used in a bad way, eveyone and their uncle posts about it, but when its @Google #AI its not very exciting? Is the hyper focus on @Grok incidents because your code blocks are associated with @ElonMusk? TECHNOLOGY NEWSWIRE: Fake AI Reddit Post on App Exploitation Identified AI NEWS: A viral Reddit post alleging widespread food delivery app exploitation has been identified as AI-generated, confirmed by digital watermark analysis. AI HOAX: This fake video incident underscores challenges in online authenticity. A viral Reddit post alleging widespread exploitation by a major food delivery app, which garnered nearly 90,000 upvotes, has been definitively identified as AI-generated. The post, which detailed claims of delayed orders, couriers being called “human assets,” and the exploitation of their “desperation,” initially resonated with many due to the industry’s documented track record concerning driver conditions. However, a closer examination revealed the sophisticated nature of the deception. While AI detectors yielded mixed results when analyzing the text of the original 586-word Reddit post, the most compelling evidence emerged from an image provided by the anonymous poster, supposedly an employee badge. Digital watermark analysis confirmed that this image was edited or generated using Google AI, leveraging an “imperceptible” tag attached to content created by its tools. Further raising suspicions, the poster quickly deleted their account after being pressed for authenticity regarding other purportedly internal documents. Both Uber and DoorDash vehemently denied the allegations. An Uber spokesperson stated the claims were “fake” and “dead wrong,” with an executive adding, “This post is definitively not about us. I suspect it is completely made up. Don’t trust everything you read on the internet.” DoorDash’s CEO also refuted the “appalling” allegations, asserting they did not reflect their company culture. This incident underscores the escalating challenge of discerning authentic information from AI-generated content online. It highlights how plausible, yet false, narratives can quickly gain traction and mislead the public, even when addressing legitimate societal concerns. The ability of AI to create convincing text and images demands heightened vigilance from consumers and platforms alike in an increasingly complex digital landscape. #AIGenerated, #FakeNews, #RedditHoax, #AIMisinformation, #DigitalWatermark, #SynthID, #FoodDelivery, #DoorDash, #UberEats, #GigEconomy, #WhistleblowerFake, #ViralPost, #AIHoax, #OnlineDeception, #Misinformation, #Deepfake, #AIContent, #RedditViral, #TechNews, #FakeWhistleblower, #GoogleAI, #ImageForgery, #SocialMediaHoax, #ExploitationClaims, #DriverExploitation, #AIDetection, #PlatformDenial, #ViralScam, #FakeBadge, #InternalDocumentsFake, #DigitalAuthenticity, #AIChallenges, #OnlineVigilance, #GigWorker, #DeliveryApp, #UberDenial, #DoorDashCEO, #TechHoax, #RedditConfession, #AIGeneratedImage, #WatermarkDetection, #FakeRedditPost, #MisleadingContent, #AIEthics, #InformationIntegrity, #ViralMisinfo, #TechDeception, #SocialMediaFake, #AIDebunked

On Windows 11 24H2, process & thread kernel objects can still be retrieved via a driver with physical memory R/W: extract CR3, get kernel VA/PA, locate nt!PsActiveProcessHead via an exported routine, then walk the list to grab each process’s kernel object. #driverexploitation

If you're exploiting a driver offering R/W access to physical memory on Win11 24H2, you can leverage this simple trick to circumvent kernel address leak restrictions and retrieve the kernel base address :p xacone.github.io/kaslr_leak_… #exploitdev #driverexploitation

Another silent robbery by Uber against its drivers: • Trip: 52.4 miles – nearly 1 hour • Uber charged the rider $149.37 • The driver received only $61.68 Where did the rest go? •$50.52 taken by Uber as a “service fee” •$30.69 for so-called operational and insurance costs •$5.48 tolls •$1.00 city surcharge In short: Uber kept over 58% of the total fare, while the driver did all the work. While monitoring kernel driver abuse, I’ve noticed a shift in tactics. Some Threat actors now sign free drivers or re-sign old vulnerable ones with PoCs, enabling privilege escalation and defense evasion with minimal effort. 1/5 #DriverExploitation #KernelThreats #SignedDriver
