ESTDEV is Estonia's official center for international development. This partnership shows that Taiwan and Estonia share the same democratic values. The large foster family of Anastasiia and Oleksii Melnyk from Kostiantynivka, raising eight children, has been living for a year in the Zhytomyr region in a house built under the Room for Childhood project of the Olena Zelenska Foundation in partnership with ESTDEV. Estonia became the first partner of the initiative and financed the construction of four more such homes for large foster families. ESTDEV has also supported the Voices Camps for two years – psychological recovery programs for around 100 Ukrainian children every year. A new stage of cooperation is now underway: we are equipping a nearly 1,000 m² shelter at a school in Olevsk and a School of Superheroes at the Zhytomyr Regional Children’s Hospital. I thank ESTDEV for a long-term partnership that consistently restores safe spaces and childhood for Ukrainian children.

Велика прийомна родина Анастасії та Олексія Мельників із Костянтинівки, яка виховує вісьмох дітей, уже рік живе на Житомирщині, у будинку, зведеному в межах проєкту «Адреса дитинства» @Zelenska_FND у партнерстві із центром ESTDEV. Естонія стала першим партнером ініціативи й профінансувала будівництво ще чотирьох таких осель для великих прийомних родин. Також ESTDEV уже два роки підтримує «Голосні кемпи» – програми психологічного відновлення для близько 100 українських дітей щороку. Нині триває новий етап співпраці: облаштовуємо укриття в школі Олевська площею майже 1000 м² та Школу Супергероїв у Житомирській обласній дитячій лікарні. At the Information System Authority’s @e_riik 15th anniversary conference, Andrea Kivi highlighted that Estonia’s experience in digital government is a key part of #ESTDEV’s international development cooperation. This was demonstrated with clarity in 2025, when ESTDEV brought a record 21.3 million euros in international funding to Estonia for e-governance and cybersecurity projects. Instead of exporting ready-made models to partner countries, we are supporting them in building secure, inclusive, and sustainable foundations for their own digital states, enabling them to develop and grow their digital infrastructure independently in the future.
