Yesterday was Clinical Trials Day, and we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible patients and families participating in clinical research β especially those involved in the gallium maltolate Expanded Access Program for recurrent glioblastoma.
Clinical progress does not happen without patients willing to step forward during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Every scan, every follow-up, every shared experience contributes to a better understanding of this disease and helps inform future treatment decisions for the broader glioblastoma community.
To the patients, caregivers, physicians, and advocates participating in research and Clinical Trials: thank you for advancing hope, knowledge, and progress for others facing GBM.
Your courage matters far beyond your own journey. π

Special thanks to @Women's Link Worldwide for convening legal experts and reproductive justice actors to brainstorm strategic litigation case ideas aimed at expanding access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) for women and girls.
These important engagements strengthen collective action toward justice, accountability, and the protection of rights, while advancing safe motherhood.
As @WomenWithAMiss1, we continue to push for policies and legal reforms that leave no woman or girl behind.

For #LongCovidAwareness month, LCAP will be highlighting treatments for LC that are already available off-label or in development. LC has no approved treatments. LCAP continues to work to educate doctors, researchers, and patients about available options for trials and treatments. Medical conditions without treatments are often given special FDA access called "right to try" and "expanded access." LC patients need treatments now. We're working to make that possible.

My kids asked what I want for Christmas, but I couldn't think of anything. All I want is expanded access to ImmunityBio's Anktiva to fight my HPV-positive cancer without the devastating side effects of radiation and chemo. Desperately pleading for your help this holiday season! @drpatrick#HPVCancer#Anktiva#ExpandedAccess#CancerAwareness
Just completed a long discussion about the results of patients receiving Anktiva to expand their NK cells and T cells. It is irrefutable that NK and T cells are key immune cells that kill cancer. Airing soon- a one hour explanation with doctors and their patientβs exciting outcomes.
Children with rare diseases like FSHD deserve access to potentially life-saving treatments NOW. Every day my daughters lose more and more abilities. Please help demand access:

What does #ExpandedAccess mean? At @mndresearch our Director of Clinical Trial Operations Abigail OβConnell is sharing how @Synapticure, in partnership with Clene and Anovo, works to provide a Phase III eligible drug to patients who otherwise wouldnβt have access.
