The last time I asked SWR why there were no refreshments on their Weymouth to Waterloo service, the person in customer services told me they regarded it as a commuter service. Two hours and forty minutes is a hell of a commute !

I’d take an on time VFM service over a hot drink thanks. Don’t distract them from providing that and doing this gaslighting service instead whilst ticket prices increase again…

Most SWR trains I use on couldn't operate a trolley service because of all the people standing in the aisles.

The at seat trolley service really ought to come back on SWR, particularly on the Exeter & Bournemouth routes (given their length)… strange as @FirstGroupplc also run the GWR franchise (which has trolleys) & as leisure travel has bounced back since Covid.

It is time for a change. We believe that @NAOorguk should conduct a review into @transportgovuk and consider whether taxpayers and passengers are getting VFM. The financial sustainability of @networkrail must also be assessed. And why is the NR Passenger Survey still 'paused'?

Train doors close 45 seconds before departure to allow the train to leave on time and to keep passengers safe from a departing train. The screens clear a train up to 2 minutes before the train goes as boarding for that particular service has closed

Hello John, I am sorry to hear you have been having some connection issues with your internet. Is this with a WIFI or cable connection? Have you checked the service status recently to see for any outages / planned work? virg.in/servicechecker ^MM

We'll be raising this with @Mark_J_Harper, it's a very fair point.
