I just buy the TIPS fund FIPDX at Fidelity.

A TIPS fund also works when you don't need structured withdrawals on a preset schedule. I put in an order to buy more shares of the Fidelity TIPS fund FIPDX today.

A rating agency downgraded the US credit rating. This caused higher yields on Treasuries. I bought more shares in the Fidelity TIPS fund FIPDX yesterday and today.

Thanks for this Brennan. So, I have been in the 2 fund portfolio scheme with Fidelity for a while. FSKAX FIPDX TIPS Bond Fund, and it’s been great so far (likely keep being that way😃). I have to figure out if I need to switch from FIPDX to FXNAC when inflation clears😃

I have been a Fidelity customer for a while. 100% indexer. Great company. My guy right now is #FSKAX. Will exchange about 15% for #FIPDX to smooth the ride and as a hedge against inflation😃
