I have decided to rebalance my “income” ROTH to move it away from a pure yield hog and add some growth and value. Since I will not draw from this account for 5 ½ years, I have time to let it build. 28.1% Value with some income: $SCHD, $VTV, 26.7% Income: $SPYI, $JEPQ, $QQQI, $FEPI 22.4% Core Equity: $FXAIX, $FSMDX 7.7% Growth: $VUG 4.8% International: $VXUS 10.4% Cash – which I can deploy at any time to take advantage of a buying opportunity. Looking at the sectors, it works out to 32.9% Financials & Industrials, 27.6% Borad Market, 19.3% Tech, and 9.8% Mid-Caps. The final 10.4% is liquidity (cash). I currently have a 1.83% indirect exposure to Utilities, so I am considering adding $FUTY (Fidelity MSCI Utilities Index ETF). While utilities are traditionally considered a "boring" play, adding $FUTY would bridge the gap between my value pillar and my growth pillar and my utilities exposure would jump to around 6.5%.
