A Factual reply to Ms
@maltiq on her insinuations on the OPs P494.8 M on COA disallowance in comparison to OVPs P125M controversial confidential fund.
FALSE Equivalence: The Office of the President (OP) ₱494M Is Not Comparable to the Office of the Vice President (OVP) ₱125M Notice of Disallowance (ND)
The claim of Ms Tiquia that people are silent on the OP’s ₱494.8M while “attacking” the OVP’s ₱125M is based on a false premise.
The OVP issue was not “clearly laid to rest” by COA. In August 2024, COA formally disallowed ₱73.28M of the 2022 confidential funds and ordered its return, an ND that remains active and under appeal. That is why scrutiny continues.
Meanwhile, the OP’s ₱494.8M is a cumulative backlog from multiple years and administrations, mostly procedural and still under routine reconciliation, NOT a NEW or targeted disallowance.
Comparing a fresh, unresolved ND to old audit carryovers distorts the facts. Accountability requires context, not misleading equivalence.

Boom and yet cricket sound compared to the 125M. Yung banat ng banat sa 125M na clearly laid to rest ng COA, dito ok lang kayo? Disallowances yan ha!
