We share interesting tidbits about digital technologies and love how much we can accomplish with them. But their impact on what we do and the future is far greater. Lets chat about it at AgChat Oct 25, 7-8 pm CT eventbrite.ca/e/187183299287@MbRichlanefarms@FarmSmart20@agbiotech
Just a little throwback for this Sunday #ontag Twitter.... It was one year ago to the day, January 17 2020 that many of us gathered at Rim Park for Cereal Smart, and a day later for @FarmSmart20. A lot has happened in the past 365 days! @WheatPete@ian_d_mcdonald
Spring cereals respond to mgmt as good or even better than winter wheat. @DCHighlander makes the case for spring cereals in Ontario @FarmSmart20: bit.ly/2UuiRab
An example corn field from a presentation a year ago at the @OntAg Precision Ag conference, #swatmaps is an excellent base layer to start with, in-field checks required to determine which way to go on rates. Map just groups/models the response zones. N/S/B pulled at 8 leaf.
And how did they like it?
I took Son3 to visit one of our engineers, who spent the day talking to him about geology and water movement and mining. He talked about it for the full 3 hours home. It still resonates with him!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Beef Symposium today @FarmSmart20. A day filled with education and new connections is always motivating! Thank you to all of our speakers for sharing your wisdom. #FarmSmart20#beef#ontag
At #FarmSmart20 today I learned that we have an amazing wealth of knowledge here at home. Our speakers from Ontario were excellent. @uofg certainly produces some high quality grads for this industry. #OntAg#IWorkInAg
I dont mind these lecture halls so much when Iβm listening to ag talk and not biochem. Heres to a great day learning how to be a Farmer 4.0 at #FarmSmart20
