Strengthening Disaster Preparedness: IRCS Gujarat Participates in CBRN Emergency Mock Exercise
On 10 June 2026, the Indian Red Cross Society Gujarat State Branch actively participated in a Joint Mock Exercise on CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological & Nuclear) Emergency Response held at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad.
The exercise brought together emergency response teams, airport authorities, and key stakeholders to enhance coordination and preparedness for complex disaster situations.
Our trained volunteers and emergency response teams demonstrated their capabilities in:
Rapid casualty evacuation
First aid and emergency medical response
Patient stabilization and safe transportation
Effective coordination with emergency services and airport authorities
Response preparedness for large-scale and challenging emergencies
Such collaborative exercises play a vital role in strengthening our collective ability to respond swiftly and effectively during real-life emergencies. They also reaffirm our commitment to saving lives, reducing suffering, and building resilient communities.
Together, we prepare. Together, we respond. Together, we save lives.
