I've played a few FischerRandom events in Amsterdam, but I like the familiarity of the standard initial position and the feeling I can play like a GM at least for a few moves. Freestyle doesn't do it for me :-( Playing it can be fun though.

Wrong. Magnus is retired, has been for years. People watch Freestyle because of opening theory and no short draws. It results in "chess" being played, instead of watching "Stockfish" prep. If theory didn't ruin the game at the highest level, no one would care about FischerRandom.

He was never smart outside of playing FIDE chess at classical time controls. He was never great at blitz, rapid, FischerRandom/960, correspondence, advanced/freestyle/centaur, Japanese, or Chinese chess, or at predicting if a woman or a computer could ever beat him at chess.
