🖥️ The root cause is the hasty implementation of the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, which was scaled up without proper examiner training or independent technical audits.
📉 Distraught parents didn't just deal with slow websites; they were hit with blurred scans, missing pages in answer books, and a systemic glitch that saw re-evaluation fees absurdly fluctuate from ₹1 to ₹69,420 per subject.
Billions in taxpayer money are always overflowing for endless freebies and welfare doles. But funds to properly check board exams without catastrophic blunders? Suddenly, the system is completely bankrupt.

CBSE portal is back after ~36 hours, but payments are still failing—UPI QR not refreshing, card transactions repeatedly failing. This is not just a tech glitch, it shows CBSE’s inability to solve student problems at the most critical time.
This has led to massive time waste and unnecessary anxiety for students and parents who are already under pressure.
