It reflects the societies these generations grew up in during their formative years. During the silent generation if you didn't grow up poor and weren't black, you very likely lived in a high trust overall society. Society is going hard multicultural, clannish, and predatory.

But why is your head so square though? Did your mam and dad make you wear a box on it throughout your formative years?

Actually his residence was in England but his family spent most of his formative years living outside of the UK, he played mostly outside of England, represented England in their youth side for only a handful of games, and has since embraced everything American. But I understand your confusion as a Canadian having nothing worthwhile to give a shit about, particularly in soccer. Resentful is wrong. More like asshole. I would say stick to hockey, but yall suck at that too.

"Dawg weren't you...weren't you a prince of Egypt..." Really becomes funnier when you remember that Moses was adopted into Egyptian royalty instead of living as an Israelite for his formative years and most likely engaged in religious worship to the Egyptian pantheon.

Some people claim that movies, books, and games profoundly shaped their worldview during childhood. It's fascinating how formative media can influence our perspectives. #MediaInfluence #ChildhoodMemories

ā€œThe loss of her mother at such a young age was so formative… In part because there is some nessecary transference to Alicent, who is there to fill the void… Aemma’s death is laced in there in a profound way.ā€ — Emma D’Arcy on Aemma’s significance to Rhaenyra.

If you didn’t have to deal with this degree of a nanny state in your most formative years you should shut the fuck up actually, I don’t need some old faggot who actively contributed to ruining everything telling me it all sucks cause of my generation

I could type out some of the most heinous shit and suffer no consequences here (I often do) whereas there are actually restrictions on what you can say on BlueSky. You're just mad that you can't feed the hate and the lies to people at their most impressionable and formative ages.

Silver was born in Hell, and I love how deeply that reflects in every aspect of his character. Crisis City was dark and desolate and dangerous, and he was alone, and no matter how many things change, Silver will always remember those as his formative years. It shows very well.

My kids had both, they had their formative years in English primary schools. So I have experience in both. They are now bi-lingual and completed their Masters at French uni. The best thing about the french system is that it's free, they have no debt.

Totally. Zoomers make fun of millennials but so many of us spent our formative years engaging with culture produced by and for millennials. It leaves an impression.

Im sure the prolonged isolation during formative years and unfettered access to the internet played no contribution to this post

All while being a child, teenager and young adult. Those are highly formative years and it's totally understandable.

ā€œhe looked for raw emotions - Michael quietly anticipating a show in his dressing room Dejean was closer to Michael than any of the other Jacksons, which allowed him the unique opportunity to capture a subtle, human view of the future King of Pop during his formative yearsā€

One of the most formative pieces of art I’ve ever watched.
An Oral History: How #Grantchester charmed viewers with its gorgeous vicars and frequent murders, telling the "social history" of Britain in the process. wp.me/pc8uak-1lHn0f
