Day 13/100 #100DaysOfCode I spent the last three days coding this To Do List. I realized that the Command Line Interface part would have slowed down my Go Learning since I am here to learn Go programming and not making an application quite yet. My focus was to create all the functions that I pseudocoded and test them in the main func(). All them worked perfectly! There was a lot of back and forth with syntax and function logic, but at the end of the day, I got there. All the functions created within the to-do list were coded. No vibe coding here. I honestly wanted to move on and not be too hung up on the Command Line Interface portion. I looked up “bufio” built in @golang function, then I decided that I knew enough to be dangerous. With all my pseudocode and built in functions, it created this CLI. I am happy to report that it did not correct any of the functions I implemented within the app. The functions worked perfectly with the CLI that the AI created. Daily Log: ⁃Completed all logic for the Todo app (did not fully create the CLI, but created the functions within the To-do App) Reflections: I am happy with the progress that I am making that I made with @golang so far! It’s been going well! Whenever I feel like I am not getting somewhere as fast as I want, I embrace the struggle. The biggest lesson here is that, coding is difficult. There are no shortcuts. There might be diversions, but when things get difficult, you will need to lean in and be patient. Your learning isn’t linear neither are your results. Results are cumulative and they will pay off. I believe that anyone can code, it’s just asking how bad you might want it. #100DaysOfCode #Day13 #Golang #GoLangLearning #CodingJourney #DevLog #ProgrammerLife #SoftwareEngineering #LearnToCode #CodeNewbie #CLI #ToDoApp #BuildInPublic #CodeWars #PythonLearning #FunctionLogic #Pseudocode #SelfTaughtDeveloper #CodingMotivation #EmbraceTheStruggle #NoShortcuts #KeepCoding #TechJourney
