La alianza sin precedentes une a 12 países del área de distribución del depredador: Rusia, Bután, Nepal, la India, China, Pakistán, Afganistán, Mongolia, Kazajistán, Kirguistán, Uzbekistán y Tayikistán.

Asia’s high mountains, home to the #SnowLeopard, are warming at twice the Northern Hemisphere average. Leaders from 12 Asian nations gathered in #Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, reaffirming their commitment to save the endangered Snow Leopard 🐆 and tackle the escalating impacts of #ClimateChange. At the IX GSLEP Steering Committee Meeting, countries adopted the Cholpon-Ata Resolution, a bold pledge to increase funding for climate adaptation and conflict mitigation, center Indigenous peoples and local communities in conservation. The resolution also acknowledged IBCA, highlighting its growing role and potential for collaboration with @gslep_program and @ethicalconserv.
