The MegaMAFIA: How a Secretive Network and an Accelerator Program are Forging MegaETH's Future
If you’ve spent any time in the MegaETH ecosystem, you’ve likely heard whispers about the MegaMAFIA.
Now it’s not a shadowy criminal syndicate or a public DAO; it's a powerful, tight-knit network of builders, traders, and early adopters who are secretly shaping the future of the blockchain.
This group operates on three unspoken principles that define its culture and influence:
Speed: No one moves faster. They are the first to test new features, deploy dApps, and push the technical limits of the chain.
Influence: They set the trends and act on "alpha" long before it reaches the broader community, moving markets and defining narratives.
Loyalty: Membership is earned, not granted. You get in by proving your dedication and long-term commitment to the MegaETH ecosystem.
There is no public application or form to fill out. You don’t get a key card or a welcome email. If you're in, you know. If you're not, you’ll likely hear about their actions only after the opportunity has passed.
This unofficial network is intrinsically linked to the official MegaMafia accelerator program, a high-octane initiative run by MegaLabs.
The accelerator serves as the public-facing engine of the community, providing resources, mentorship, and direct access to the core MegaETH team.
Its purpose is to help early-stage founders build fully on-chain dApps that can harness MegaETH's high-speed and low-latency capabilities. The accelerator is where the network’s principles are put into practice, turning ideas into tangible projects.
The MegaMAFIA's influence is evident in the innovative projects that have emerged from this ecosystem. These builders are forging the core infrastructure of the chain, including:
Euphoria: A crypto derivatives trading app that simplifies complex trading with a "tap trading" interface, making it accessible to a wider audience.
@Euphoria_fi
Cap Money: A stablecoin engine creating a new stablecoin model by allowing market participants to select their preferred off-chain operator yield.
@capapp
Showdown: A unique on-chain game that fuses poker with collectible card games, pushing the boundaries of decentralized gaming.
@Showdown_TCG
Funes: An online museum aiming to digitize the physical world into a vast, accessible 3D database of human-made structures.
@Funes_World
The success of these projects, from raising significant seed rounds to gaining traction in the ecosystem, is a direct reflection of the
@megamafia 's power.
It’s a culture of building, moving, and collaborating that is helping MegaETH's ecosystem go from "zero to one" and beyond.
While some projects, like the decentralized exchange
@GTE_XYZ , eventually graduate to scale on their own, the MegaMAFIA remains the central hub where innovation on the chain truly begins.
How I Decided to Bring megaMAFIA into My MegaVERSE
Reading about them and watching their moves got me thinking:
What if I took this real, powerful subculture inside MegaETH… and turned them into something bigger?
Something that lives not just on-chain, but in a fully fleshed-out fictional world.....the MegaVERSE.
In my MegaVERSE, the
@megamafia isn’t just a group chat, they’re the shadowy regulatory body that decides who’s allowed to enter and exit the chain.
They’re gatekeepers of cross-chain travel, enforcers of order, and controllers of the rarest digital licenses: Seals of Passage.
The real
@megamafia secrecy and tight-knit power made them perfect to adapt into a central, high-stakes force in my worldbuilding.
MegaVERSE Lore: The megaMAFIA
In MegaETH, nothing moves without the MegaMAFIA.
At the top?
The Don -the first conscious smart contract. Immutable. Untouchable. Written into the Genesis Block before the rest of us even loaded in.
Under him sit The Five Admins - equal in power, feared in their own ways:
Gasflow Admin – controls the flow of gas, opens or chokes the mempool at will.
Bridge Admin – decides who crosses between chains… and who gets stranded forever.
Ledger Admin – keeper of the chain’s memory, erasing blocks like they never happened.
Security Admin – the fist of the chain, sending Enforcers to kill rogue code before it breathes.
Consensus Admin – controls validator loyalty, can freeze the entire network with one command.
They don’t answer to anyone but The Don.
Couldn't quite make up my mind on
@hotpot_dao or @0xBreadguy for the role of The Don (They're the only two with much of an online presence that I've seen so far)
The point of this whole thing was just to see if I could fit them into my system of what MegaETH would look like if it was a part of my world building and I know the actions here don't directly translate into what the
@megamafia does in reality but they are still an agency that filters quality into
@megaeth and I wanted to showcase that with the lore.
Any thoughts?
@basit_ @0xAlexjultz @juliencoppola @badbunnz_
Took hours to write and edit this entire thing.....And now I ask myself...was it worth it???
I think so...
Gmega
Was up all night thinking of megaETH content to put out there. Wanted to try doing manga panels with the
@badbunnz_ NFT characters as the main focus of the lore.
Turns out it's so hard to make these things digitally compared to the manual art I'm used to.
Really bummed it didn't go the way I wanted....went to take a nap after hitting blocks for 4 hours.
So I've decided to just drop a short
@megaeth lore instead
Title: BadBunnz: Rise of MegaBUNNZ
In the sprawling, data-lit streets of Etherion Prime, peace was just a rumor....until MegaBUNNZ arrived.
Once a humble code-runner, he merged with the MegaETH mainframe, gaining godlike control over the blockchain grid.
His goal? To enslave every node, wallet, and mind in the metaverse, forging a single empire under his glitching, iron paw.
From his Tower of Infinite Gas, MegaBUNNZ deploys his HenchBunnz- ruthless, genetically spliced enforcers, into every chain, siphoning life-force (and ETH) from the people.
But hope still hops.
Four rogue BadBunnz, each with a fractured past, have united under the Codebreak Pact:
Cipher, the hacker-sniper who can overload smart contracts mid-battle.
Jade, the stealth artist, able to cloak entire city blocks in digital smog.
Roguebyte, a cybernetic bruiser who shatters firewalls with raw force.
Vanta, the ex-Henchbunn turned traitor, holding the only key to MegaBUNNZ’s core code.
Armed with stolen MegaETH shards, they plan to storm the Tower before MegaBUNNZ finalizes The Merge of Chains which is a doomsday protocol that will bind all worlds into one, under his eternal control.
The clock ticks.
The gas burns.
The final block approaches.
And somewhere in the dark, MegaBUNNZ’s red eyes flicker… waiting.
Quick look into the
@megaETH world from the eyes of a comic lover.
Hope this reaches the right audience lol

Would love more context and material....who knows...maybe the
@badbunnz_ team could send me one Badbunnz for a close up inspection???👀👀👀👀👀
