🎣 What a Catch, #HaltonHills! We had an incredible turnout at the Mayor's Fishing Derby this past Saturday! Over 200 enthusiastic anglers joined us for a fun-filled day by the water to cast their lines and help reel in the invasive Round Goby—a big step in protecting our local ecosystem. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, 35 Round Goby were successfully caught and removed from the lake. Every catch counts in keeping our waters healthy! 🏆 Prizes were won, memories were made, and the community came together for a great cause. A heartfelt thank you to @CVC_CA, @OFAH, our dedicated staff, supportive Councillors Garneau, Kindbom, Hilson, Albano, and Fogal, and all the amazing residents who came out to enjoy a day on the lake. Your support made this event a true success!
