🚀 AI Hackathon Winners - The GoodPath Team🌟 As winners of last week’s AI hackathon, David Jin Li and Filipe Li PhD, students from UCL and Imperial, secured an offer of £100,000 investment from @adaventures, alongside over £250,000 in support from our participating collaborators. David and Felipe are on leave from academia as they pursue building their startup. The brothers, whose winning idea and demo were coded on the day, built a voice agent that simulated training scenarios in a hospital with rapid feedback and performance assessment for trainees and professionals. The AI hackathon was designed to empower some of the best to take their passion for real-world problem-solving and create a transformative MVP within a 5-hour build. 🌟 The best can come from any background if only allowed to shine. To reduce bias, we used a blind-scoring approach to make final applicant selections, and we are proud to have attracted 40% of women and 37% of those from a low socio-economic background.
