Over the next 18 months we should start to see 8.1 GW of new UK offshore wind produce first power. This will begin to push down gas power generation as these projects ramp up.
•Dogger Bank B: 1.2 GW
•Dogger Bank C: 1.2 GW
•Hornsea 3: 2.9 GW
•Sofia: 1.4 GW
•East Anglia THREE: 1.4 GW
Total = 8.1 GW
Check out the projected ramp of wind and the decline of gas power generation, plus the 2025 annual power generation infographic.
