Ok, let's see, about 50% of my current #Gridelements use cases in #TYPO3 will probably be covered with this cool new core feature "Nested Content Elements" of #ContentBlocks. Daniel Siepmann and @NHovratov you guys are awesome!

Das siehst Du so nur, wenn Du mit #Gridelements unterwegs bist, weil das kein #TYPO3 Core-Feature ist. Du kannst Dir aber auch ohne Gridelements im neuen Page-Modul ein Template für den Preview von Shortcuts hinterlegen und das dann selbst nach Deinen Wünschen stylen.

Höhe find ich mehr als fair, aber eap heißt für mich sobald stable dass das public wird und nicht erst ende jahr, sonst wird das so eine geschichte wie gridelements. Wenn ihr paid only machen wollt, auch ok ist aber dann kein eap mehr

There is one single possible issue, that could happen when upgrading #TYPO3 with #Gridelements and this is mentioned in the docs:
Don't ever touch the SQL definition of colPos!
Anything else was always backwards compatible and without any issues during upgrades.

Could you please stop providing false information about #Gridelements not being available for #TYPO3 CMS later than 10?
There is a version for CMS 11 and there will be the same for CMS 12 - just support our crowdfunding campaign if you don't want to wait for a public release.

Fun fact: I never noticed this is broken in the #TYPO3 core, since it magically gets fixed by #Gridelements post processing and there is not a single installation we are running without it.

Ich habe mittlerweile die 3. Instanz erfolgreich auf #TYPO3 #v11 mit #Gridelements Early Access gezogen und bin froh nicht alle, teils komplexen, Elemente migrieren zu müssen. Die Extension hat mir fast 10 Jahre gute Dienste geleistet. Ich seh aktuell noch keinen Migrationsgrund.

Ohne Twitter hätte ich nie den @wowa_TYPO3 kennen gelernt, wäre nie auf #TYPO3 gestoßen und dann gäbs auch keine Anleitung für die Migration von Gridelements zu Container. codeblog.at/migration-von-gr… 😜

Are there any news about using gridelements for #TYPO3 version 11.4 (in a multilanguage instance with many different Gridcontainer?
in TER still 10.x is latest supported Version.
But Composer.json in
gitlab.com/coderscare/gridel…
supports Version 11.5
still bugs?

That's one of the reasons why #Gridelements 11 is still pending.
Making it compatible with #TYPO3 CMS 10 and 11 as well as PHP 7 and 8 takes quite some time and real life testing.
But the current state of the Early Access Repository already looks promising.
