Chitkara University College of Nursing, in collaboration with IIC and STI Clinic, ESIC Parwanoo, hosted an enlightening workshop titled “Beyond HIV: Future Perspective of HIV Treatment” from May 27th to May 28th, 2024. Dr. Lalit, STI Counsellor at STI Clinic, ESIC Parwanoo, shared insights on the future of HIV therapy, including novel approaches like therapeutic vaccines and immunomodulators. On the second day, our B.Sc Nursing 2nd semester students engaged patients with role plays and poster presentations, emphasizing the importance of combining HIV prevention and treatment. Key takeaways: Innovative approaches to HIV treatment hold great promise, and ongoing research and funding are crucial for developing accessible therapies.
