I’m using more and more HTPLA the gentle life. Im at a crossroads on my guitar speaker can. Vorons 350 is only one to print it. I only have one Jensen 8”so far. Need to meet with filament factory owner PCTG or PETG-CF for 50w cab ? 🤷♂️

I’ve 30 spools of pla getting old so I’m wasting it learning hue forge so I don’t piss away expensive HTPLA. I’d highly recommend a 1:2 pit droid just don’t feed them after midnight. I modified the cults3D file so the heads would turn. Made a backpack too

My @Polymaker_3D HTPLA print also looks great for being outside for a year. Granted, we don’t get “heat” in Seattle, but rain? Yes.

Sitting outside on the deck with the family after dinner and just realized I’ve had this @Polymaker_3D High Temp PLA planter sitting outside for 1 year now and it hasn’t deformed or warped 🤘

I rebuild guitars rescue some help friends. I use a lot of 2000 3000 & compound to make them perfect. Dense plastics like @Polymaker_3D pro & HTPLA polishes like metal on a cotton guitar wheel with Meguiars Compound. It takes the lines from my TPU instrument covers

It is. It HTPLA with bronze content. @Proto_pasta. I’ve used lots of their off the wall filament. Pla wont stand up to guitars. HTPLA gets cured in oven it’s a little tricky for amazing results.Bronze can be finished 3ways. I just hit them with mequiars and buffing wheel.

Yeah!! I was so impressed I bought the black and orange rolls too to make more (at some point 😅) it’s a little pricey but it’s worth it just for the ball itself. It’s like bouncy tpu but they call it htpla if I remember right

This is Bronze HTPLA really expensive about $85 Cdn for 500G spool. Has bronze content I think perfect to get rid of the awful ABS faux aged ABS. With AirTag

When you have a chance look at Hue Forge it’s 3D printer software to print any picture. Down side the most common filament pla will fail on guitars HTPLA ASA ABS will. HTPLA. Check out Proto-Pasta Washington. CnC New Geddy Lee Custom Son had it on loan

I’ve seen some real crappy transitional filaments. You picked a real beautiful one. The transitions are invisible more an expression shape & reflectance. I don’t use silk in my stuff but I use Meguiars compound to make HTPLA ASA TPU like glass. About to test nexPA-GF 🤷♂️

I made 5k dryer with 5V hand warmers dog food box wisedry bags pico W temp humidity sender. Stock TPU in it. Only been using a nice colour range of PETG-CF made in Toronto. I’ve 3 -1K dryers. PA’s ASA TPU fit my niche. HTPLA for fun.
