When I organised HackAccess Dublin a few years ago with Janice, we invited people from the Dublin city council who were doing their best to make Dublin accessible. They faced internal residence from internal architects and engineers more interested in awards than in helping citizens with disabilities.
Our friends at @DubCityCouncil & @SmartDublin have been incredibly supportive to us. We wish them all the best during this difficult time and look forward to working with them again in the future to #HackAccess!
It is uplifting in these uncertain times to revisit memories that spark inspiration & joy. Looking at everyone who attended #HA2020 & being reminded about how they came together for the benefit of others certainly does that : ) #HackAccess#TeamWork
