While I agree with most of @HastobeHunt U turns on the budget - the decision to scrap VAT shopping is a hammer blow to central london Businesses and will only encourage tourists to shop abroad - this hampers local economic growth and employment @RBKC @Josh_Rendall

The members are going to vote for Truss though, aren’t they? They have an unerring ability to choose a dud - Ian Duncan-Donuts over Ken Clarke, Boris Johnson over #HasToBeHunt (you tweeted that a lot back in the day) and now they’ll pick Liz T over #Ready4Rishi, ‘cos they’re mad.

Old tweet, but interesting. Civil servant made redundant, then obliged to work for no less than HMRC, via use of payroll loan arrangements. Via which preferred supplier? During which period? Is this an earlier example than HMRC have already admitted to in FOI's recently? Hmm...

I supported #HastobeHunt but got to say Boris has been great. He #GotBrexitDone, got us Corbyn neutral by Christmas, and is now working hard to defeat #COVID19. It’s been quite a year - keep going @BorisJohnson!!

One year ago Boris beat me in the leadership contest. He promised to get Brexit done & we’ve left the EU. He promised to stop Corbyn & we have an 80 seat majority. These are big achievements. I was proud of a brilliant #HastobeHunt campaign but congrats to #BackBoris one year on.
