๐ Health workforce planning is becoming increasingly complex as health systems respond to demographic change, evolving care models, technological transformation and shifting population needs. Estimating future demand remains one of the most challenging elements of workforce planning.
๐งญ At
#EHMC2026, the panel discussion 'From data to decisions: future-proofing health workforce planning through smarter demand estimation' will explore methodologies, frameworks and practical approaches that can strengthen the robustness and reliability of demand estimation within workforce planning systems.
๐ Through case studies from Ireland, Italy and Lithuania, the session will provide insights into how countries are currently structuring, measuring and assessing workforce demand, highlighting both challenges and innovative practices.
