🚨 IT’S TIME TO OPEN OUR LANDS! 🚨
While Democrats and radical activists continue their crusade to ban hunting and fishing through endless "administrative barriers," the Trump administration is finally putting common sense and science first. 🇺🇸
Interior Secretary Doug Burgum has issued a massive directive to strip away unnecessary regulations that have kept American sportsmen and women off the lands we already own. For too long, out-of-touch bureaucrats have ignored the reality of carrying capacity—the scientific fact that wildlife populations must be managed to stay healthy. Instead of sensible management, the left prefers "ban-everything" policies that leave ecosystems out of balance.
The GOP understands the science:
✅ Expanding Access: Trump is opening up millions of acres in national parks, refuges, and wilderness areas.
✅ Removing Barriers: Getting rid of "outdated and overly broad" rules on tree stands, dog training, and game retrieval.
✅ Boosting Economies: Recognizing that hunters and anglers are the #1 source of conservation funding in the U.S.
✅ Respecting Tradition: Bringing federal rules in line with state regulations so you don't need a law degree just to go fishing.
Democrats want to treat our public lands like a museum where you can look but can't touch. Republicans know that true conservation means active management and public use. It’s time to stop the war on the American outdoorsman and let us back onto our land!

🚨 Colorado Outdoors Under Attack? 🚨
The battle for the future of Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) reached a boiling point this week. While the Senate confirmed one new commissioner, two others—John Emerick and Chris Sichko—were forced to withdraw their nominations after a massive outcry from the hunting and conservation community.
The Breakdown:
The Victory: Sportsmen and outfitters successfully blocked appointees who many believe were hand-picked by Democrats to advance a radical anti-hunting agenda.
The Red Flag: Emerick had already signaled his leanings by voting to ban the sale of wild fur, a move seen by many as the "first domino" in a plan to dismantle traditional game management.
The "Polis" Problem: There is growing concern that Governor Polis is intentionally stacking the commission with activists rather than biologists. Given that the First Gentleman is a well-known radical animal rights activist, many are asking: Who is actually pulling the strings on Colorado's wildlife policy?
Why This Matters:
This isn't just about two seats; it’s about a calculated attempt to cancel hunting and fishing in Colorado. By replacing science-based game control with "protectionist" ideology, the Democrats risk:
Destroying Game Control: Without regulated hunting, predator and prey populations spiral out of balance.
Defunding Conservation: Hunters and anglers provide the vast majority of CPW’s funding. No hunting = no money for wildlife.
Bottom Line: The Democrats are showing their hand. They want to turn our woods and waters into a laboratory for radical experiments. We need to keep the pressure on the Senate to ensure future appointees actually respect the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation—not the whims of political activists.

Hunters' dollars go beyond big game. Their funding of habitat restoration, wildlife law enforcement, and scientific research benefits many non-hunted species.
Hunting IS conservation. Pass it on.

Hunting is Conservation: hunters turned 13,000 ➡️ 1,100,000 between 1920 to today.
The commercial harvest of game pushed many species, like pronghorn antelope, to the verge of extinction. This prompted hunters to pause and push for laws to ensure the sustainability of wildlife populations.
Hunters not only rescued species from dwindling numbers, they created a network of laws, agencies and partnerships that ensure the future of wildlife.

Hunting is Conservation: In 1901, North American waterfowl numbers were plummeting. By the end of the 20th century, hunters had helped restore and conserve enough wetlands to support more than 32 million ducks. 🦆

Thanks to hunters pushing for laws that ensured the sustainability of wildlife populations, turkeys and other wildlife now thrive in the wild.

In 2022, James Talarico said it’s “existential” to reduce meat consumption to fight climate change.
"I am proud to say that our campaign has officially become a non-meat campaign... We are only buying vegan products from our local vegan businesses."
