Our team has installed 3 #IoTweatherstations to monitor hyperlocal #Mumbaiweather; as a part of a pilot project. These are robust devices that were built in-house & also cost effective.
Data goes into our prediction model to improve #hyperlocalforecasting.

Another good example of how weather forecasting over the SW #BC coast can be extremely complicated and can vary so widely over a small area esp when it comes to #snow.

This is my over-achieve theory for Monday AM. Converging winds (outflow) enhance lift and snowfall rates over the Strait, but that'll migrate further east by Monday AM across a swath of Metro Van. #BCSnow #BCStorm
