To strengthen NTD supply chain performance in Uganda, the @JSIhealth - led Supply Chain Technical Support Mechanism (SCTSM) project partnered with the Uganda Vector Borne and Neglected Tropical Diseases Control Program to deliver an IMPACTT Approach training workshop for NTD programme staff and key stakeholders. The workshop focused on building a culture of data use, equipping participants with a structured, problem-solving approach to inform supply chain decisions for NTD commodities. Key outcomes included: ✅ 25 participants trained in the IMPACTT approach ✅ Alignment on priority NTD supply chain indicators for ongoing monitoring ✅ Development of performance monitoring and recognition plans to support implementation This approach enables teams to make more responsive and effective supply chain decisions by ensuring data informs action. inSupply Health, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Tanzania, President’s Office - Regional Administration and Local Government (PORALG), Regional and Council Health Management Teams, recently conducted a joint monitoring activity across 10 health facilities in Tanga to assess the implementation of the IMPACTT approach, a strategy that promotes the use of quality data for informed decision-making in health supply chains. Through Data Quality Assessments (DQAs) and Facility IMPACT Team meetings, the exercise highlighted key strengths, identified improvement areas, and showcased the power of real-time data in strengthening healthcare delivery. A proud moment was the recognition of Kisosora Dispensary, which demonstrated outstanding data quality and commitment to excellence in service delivery.
