Forecasting goes beyond quantifying demand. It enables health programmes to anticipate needs, allocate resources effectively, and respond to change with greater confidence. Working alongside the Ministry of Health (MOH) and PMO-RALG in Tanzania, inSupply Health, through the @JSIhealth-led Supply Chain Technical Support Mechanism (SCTSM) project provided technical support to review and update multi-year forecasts for Neglected Tropical Disease (NTD) commodities through 2029. The exercise resulted in finalized commodity projections for Lymphatic Filariasis, Onchocerciasis, and Soil-Transmitted Helminths, informed by the latest survey data, programme priorities, and funding outlooks. Combining strong forecasting systems with effective Mass Drug Administration (MDA) coverage helps reduce stock shortages, prevent medicine expiries, and support more equitable distribution of commodities. Digital forecasting tools and routine inventory visibility continue to strengthen data-driven decision-making and improve NTD commodity security. #DataUse #HealthSupplyChains #GlobalHealth #EndNTDs #UniteActEliminate @WHOAFRO AFRO - @wizara_afyatz @gatesfoundation

Health commodity availability challenges are interconnected, spanning quantification, financing, procurement, and overall supply chain performance. Today, inSupply Health, alongside @HlthSysInsight and @CIPSHPA, convened a supply chain partners joint quarterly physical Meeting to review implementation progress and discuss priority actions for strengthening forecasting, financing, procurement, and commodity availability across counties. Discussions focused on key system-level challenges affecting commodity availability, including evidence-based budget allocation and prioritisation, strengthening local finance mechanisms, debt management, procurement bottlenecks, budget execution gaps, and fragmented data review processes. A key takeaway from the meeting was the importance of more integrated approaches that connect forecasting, financing, procurement, and data use to strengthen health systems and improve commodity security across counties. The meeting brings together partners implementing different interventions across public sector health supply chains in collaboration with @MOH_Kenya, Kenya and support from the @gatesfoundation. #HealthSupplyChains #Quantification #Procurement #Financing #DataUse #GlobalHealth

Efficient use of procurement funds is key to ensuring that health facilities are able toย consistently provide essential medicines to the communities they serve. Through implementation of the IMPACT Teams approach, facilities are able to identify inefficiencies, make data-driven decisions, and optimize resource allocation. Tanga City Hospital provides an example of this transformation. Monitoring activities showed that through the IMPACT intervention, the hospital has managed to reduce expenditures on health commodities from Tshs.24 million to Tshs.17 million. This demonstrates how strategic management and performance monitoring can improve operational efficiency while ensuring the consistent availability of essential medicines for patients. #IMPACTT #DataUse #HealthSupplyChains #Tanzania #Tanga @wizara_afyatz @gatesfoundation

Effective resource management is crucial for a health system to function optimally. Aligning commodity orders with actual demand, IMPACT Teams help facilities allocate resources where they are most needed, reduce unnecessary spending, and improve financial accountability. This ensures that limited funds are used efficiently, supporting both patient care and the long-term sustainability of the health system. As Ngamiani Health Centre shared, they have managed to reduce their debt significantly from Tshs 140 million to Tshs. 12 million. #IMPACTT #DataUse #HealthSupplyChains #Tanzania #Tanga @wizara_afyatz

๐Ÿ“Œ Day 110 How to Find Hidden Gem Tokens ๐Ÿ’Ž ๐Ÿ’Ž Everyone wants to find the next 100x coin. But most people have no idea where to even start looking. Today I'll walk you through the EXACT process From finding a token to deciding if it's actually worth your money ๐Ÿ‘‡ This is part of an ongoing series where I share real world crypto scenarios to help you navigate the market better. Crypto is high risk. This is not financial advice. Never invest more than you can afford to lose ๐Ÿ’Ž STEP 1: WHERE DO HIDDEN GEMS HIDE? ๐Ÿ” Most beginners only check $Binance or $Coinbase. That's too late. By then, the early gains are already gone. $Binance and $CoinGecko run deep verification checks on every token before listing , that's why not every token makes it, and why the real gems are found before they ever get there ๐Ÿ’Ž Here's where gems are found BEFORE they go mainstream: ๐Ÿ”ธ DEXScreener โ†’ See new tokens launching in real time and you can filter it by time volume and age. ๐Ÿ”ธ CoinGecko New Listings โ†’ Tokens just getting listed . ๐Ÿ”ธ CoinMarketCap New Cryptos โ†’ Similar to CoinGecko but different listings. ๐Ÿ”ธ Crypto X โ†’ Watch what narratives are trending. STEP 2: WHAT IS A NARRATIVE? ๐ŸŒŠ A narrative = the STORY the market is believing right now. When a narrative is hot, everything in that sector pumps. When it dies, everything dumps. Recent narrative examples: ๐Ÿ”นAI Crypto ๐Ÿค– ๐Ÿ”นReal World Assets (RWA) ๐Ÿฆ ๐Ÿ”นDePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure) ๐Ÿ“ก ๐Ÿ”นMemecoins on Solana ๐Ÿธ ๐Ÿ”นLayer 2 scaling solutions โšก How to spot a rising narrative: Multiple projects in the same sector pumping together. Big accounts on X talking about the same theme. Mainstream news starting to cover it. ๐Ÿ’ก Rule: Find the narrative FIRST, then find the best token in it.Not the other way around. STEP 3: HOW TO RESEARCH A TOKEN ๐Ÿ“Š Found a token that looks interesting? Don't ape in yet. Run through this checklist first ๐Ÿ‘‡ A) Check the Basics โœ… What problem does it solve? โœ… Is there a real website? โœ… Is the whitepaper real or copy-pasted? โœ… When was it launched? B) Check the Team โœ… Are the founders doxxed ? โœ… Do they have LinkedIn / GitHub profiles? โœ… Previous projects โ€” did they deliver or rug? โœ… Anonymous team = higher risk โ—๏ธโ—๏ธ C) Check On-Chain DataUse โœ… How many holders? โœ… Is liquidity locked? โœ… Top 10 wallets - do they hold 50% ? ๐Ÿšฉ โœ… Any suspicious whale movements? D) Check Tokenomics โœ… Total supply - is it 1 quadrillion? โœ… How much goes to team vs public? โœ… Is there a vesting schedule for team tokens? โœ… Inflation rate - new tokens keep dumping price? E) Check Community โœ… Telegram: Are real people talking or just bots? โœ… Twitter followers vs engagement ratio โœ… Is the team responsive to questions? โœ… How long has the community existed? STEP 4: GREEN FLAGS vs RED FLAGS ๐Ÿšฆ ๐ŸŸขGREEN FLAGS โœ… โ†’ Doxxed team with verifiable history โ†’ Liquidity locked for 6โ€“12 months โ†’ Growing organic community โ†’ Active GitHub (for utility tokens) โ†’ Partnerships with real companies โ†’ Token unlocks are gradual, not sudden โ†’ Clear use case within a hot narrative ๐Ÿ”ดRED FLAGS ๐Ÿšฉ โ†’ Anonymous team with no history โ†’ Liquidity not locked or very short lock โ†’ Promises of guaranteed returns โ†’ Top 10 wallets hold 80% of supply โ†’ Copied whitepaper โ†’ Fake Telegram with only bot activity โ†’ No real product - only roadmap promises โ†’ Sudden huge price spike with no news Finding the gem is only half the job. Knowing WHEN to sell is what separates winners from losers. Do your own research. Never invest what you can't afford to lose. This guide won't make you rich overnight. But it will stop you from making the mistakes I made. ๐Ÿ“Œ Save this post ,you'll need it. โ™ป๏ธ Repost to help a fellow beginner avoid the traps. Follow for daily crypto education ๐Ÿ‘Š This is a new series, and Iโ€™ll share more details with you soon. #Crypto #HiddenGems #CryptoEducation #Altcoins #DYOR #Web3 #CryptoTwitter #Day110

Strengthening health supply chains starts with better data and better tools to act on it. The quantification tool, co-created by inSupply Health and the @MOH_Kenya Department of Health Products and Technologies (DHPT), is helping counties across Kenya move from manual, fragmented forecasting to more accurate, data-driven planning. Implemented in Nairobi, Nakuru, Isiolo, Kakamega, and Trans Nzoia, and now scaled to Turkana, Baringo, and Kwale in collaboration with @VillageReach, the tool is improving forecasting accuracy, reducing stockouts, and enabling the evidence-based resource allocation of health products across facilities. Last week, inSupply Health supported the scale-up training on Tanzaniaโ€™s MEIMIS system for Cold Chain Equipment (CCE) a key step in strengthening immunization systems nationwide as part of a Rapid Response & Repair Initiative led by Nexleaf Analytics. The digital system aims to improve the management of CCE through real-time inventory tracking and maintenance monitoring. Training sessions began in the Dar es Salaam and Lindi regions, involving immunization officers and biomedical engineers at regional, district, and facility levels. During the first week alone, we covered six regions: Dar es Salaam, Pwani, Morogoro, Lindi, Mtwara, and Ruvuma. In total, 158 facilities trained 2,085 participants from various sub-national levels, marking significant progress toward strengthening cold chain systems. This initiative will continue to roll out across all regions of mainland Tanzania, supporting stronger immunization systems nationwide. #ColdChain #Immunization #DataUse

At the heart of strengthening primary healthcare is ensuring that services are not only available but also accessible, responsive, and aligned to community needs and how well they enable choice. Over the past few days, we have supported facility in-reaches in Nairobi focused on expanding access to family planning services, particularly DMPA-SC self-injection (SI). These efforts are part of a broader commitment to empower clients with convenient, client-centred options. While overall service uptake has improved, the data highlights that self-injection remains low, with most visits being provider-administered revisits. These insights demonstrate that data guides learning, informs adaptation, and drives greater impact. The progress across facilities is encouraging, but it also presents an opportunity to move beyond coverage toward meaningful, sustained use that effectively translates access into informed choice. Grateful to the facility teams, FP nurses, and sub-county teams for their continued dedication. The journey towards client empowerment and expanded choice continues. #ReproductiveHealth #FamilyPlanning #SelfInjection #DataUse

AFENET, in collaboration with the Uganda Ministry of Health โ€“ UNEPI, is piloting an Online Learning Curriculum on Immunization Data Triangulation from 12โ€“13 March 2026 in Namanve, Uganda. The curriculum is designed to strengthen the capacity of district immunization and Vaccine-Preventable Disease (VPD) surveillance managers to analyze and triangulate multiple data sources to improve immunization programme planning, strengthen decision-making, and support the prevention of polio, measles, and other VPD outbreaks. Through practical e-learning modules, discussions, and feedback sessions, participants are enhancing their ability to use data to identify under-immunized populations, detect programme gaps, and strengthen immunization performance at national and subnational levels. The Uganda workshop is part of a global pilot to test and refine the curriculum before wider rollout. Findings from the pilot will inform improvements to the course ahead of its broader implementation. The initiative is supported by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). #AFENET #Immunization #PublicHealth #DataForDecisionMaking #VPD #Uganda #AFENET #Immunization #PublicHealth #DataUse #VPD #Uganda

The Division of Reproductive Maternal Newborn Child and Adolescent Health (DRMNCAH) in Kenya conducted its National Forecasting Exercise for priority Maternal Newborn Health commodities last week to review requirements for the FY 2025/26 period and forecast needs for the next three years. The exercise was supported by inSupply Health in collaboration with Health Procurement Africa, Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc., and Lwala Community Alliance. This three-year outlook is critical for informed resource allocation, financial planning, and strategic procurement to ensure the consistent availability of MNH commodities and prevent future stockouts. The engagement convened key stakeholders from DRMNCAH, the Division of Health Products and Technologies (DHPT), Kenya Medical Supplies Authority, and county representatives from Isiolo, Nairobi, Kakamega, Nakuru, Makueni, and Trans Nzoia, alongside supply chain implementing partners, to align national and county priorities. Effective forecasting is the foundation of a resilient health system. By refining priority commodity needs and strengthening coordination across partners, we move closer to ensuring that Every Woman and Every Newborn, Everywhere (ENEWE) has timely access to essential, life-saving products. This approach is central to reducing preventable maternal and newborn mortality. @MOH_Kenya @gatesfoundation @PJMFdn @CHAI_health @LwalaCommunity @CIPSHPA @MoH_DRMH #HealthSupplyChains #DataUse #Foreacasting
