Hamas grew out of the Muslim brotherhood, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin was already active. To repeat myself, Hamas won the 2006 elections on their OWN, and violently took control of Gaza in 2007 on THEIR OWN. It has never been exterminating all Gazans. TO ADD, the statistics and actions of Israel don't support any genocide happening either. Israel gives evacuation warnings, does roof knocking, and facilitates significant aid to Gaza EVEN when Hamas is diverting the aid. The population of Gaza increased dramatically for decades under Israeli oversight. The combatant:civilian death ratio is around 1:2, which is normal for urban warfare. The death toll is around 70k-75k INCLUDING combatants. How does any of this show genocidal intent?? You cannot debunk any of these things, because it is all factually true. 5. Pointing out that Hamas is a terrorist dictatorship that uses its own people as shields, rejects peace, and diverts aid is factual, this isn't "ascribing dictatorship to all Palestinians." Most Palestinians suffer because of Hamas's choices. HOWEVER, Palestinians aren't saints like you prescribe them to be. The majority of Palestinians still believe (around 50-53% in Gaza and West bank) that Hamas was RIGHT to launch the Oct. 7th attack. This is a poll from May 2025 btw, EVEN after Gaza got blown to smithereens, these people are so anti-Jewish that they still think it was worth it. The PA has a "pay for slay" system in the West Bank that has been running for years, that pays families of terrorists stipends scaled to how many Israeli's they killed or how long their prison sentence is. We're talking about hundreds of millions of dollars total in a year. PA/Gaza school textbooks contain violent antisemitism, glorify jihad and martyrdom, and erase Israel from maps while teaching kids that killing Jews is ok. We could also validly criticize their societal flaws, like their treatment of women, their high rates of consanguineous marriages, their treatment of gays.....etc Since you wanted to analyze me, heres my honest assessment of you: Just like most Pro-Pali's, you're overemotional and brainwashed.
