🚨 OPERATIVOS SIMULTÁNEOS DEJAN 9 DETENIDOS Y GOLPEAN A “LOS TIGUERONES” EN CUATRO CIUDADES 📍 Un despliegue coordinado de la @PoliciaEcuador en varias provincias del país dejó nueve personas detenidas y 13 allanamientos ejecutados en los distritos de Santo Domingo, Manta, Guayaquil y Pedro Carbo, según informó el ministro del Interior, @JohnReimberg. 👮‍♂️ Las intervenciones se realizaron en sectores estratégicos como Santo Domingo Este, Nueva Prosperina, Modelo, Durán, Portete, Pascuales y Pedro Carbo, donde identificaron a presuntos integrantes del grupo delictivo organizado “Los Tiguerones”. ⚖️ Entre los detenidos figuran dos individuos catalogados como Objetivos de Interés Penal Relevante (IPRR), quienes acumulan en conjunto al menos siete procesos judiciales por delitos como tráfico de drogas, microtráfico, tenencia ilegal de armas, extorsión, intimidación, robo de vehículos y asaltos a locales comerciales. 🔎 De acuerdo con las investigaciones, los sospechosos utilizaban motocicletas y vestimenta similar a la de las fuerzas del orden para ejecutar actividades ilícitas, entre ellas un asalto perpetrado bajo la modalidad de “falsos policías” en diciembre de 2025 en una plaza comercial de Guayaquil. 📊 Como resultado de los operativos, la Policía reportó: • 9 detenidos • 13 allanamientos • 5 vehículos retenidos • 1 motocicleta retenida • 9 teléfonos celulares incautados • 300 gramos de droga • Varios indicios vinculados a la investigación 📌 De acuerdo con el informe oficial, los detenidos son: • Jhonny Alexander Cusme Pallaroso, alias “Jhony” (IPRR), 31 años: registra 3 detenciones por asociación ilícita y robo. • Ralph Santiago Salcedo Ramos, alias “Ralph” (IPRR), 27 años: registra 4 procesos por receptación, tráfico de drogas y robo. • Jordy Guillermo Intriago Figueroa, 31 años: registra 3 procesos por tráfico de armas y robo. • Carlos Antonio Chávez Mendoza, 32 años. • Alex Luis Navarro López, 40 años. • Eduardo Luis Pincay Holguín, 37 años. • Diego Ely Zambrano Montaño, 23 años: registra 1 proceso por extorsión. • Henry Joel Portilla Zumba, 30 años: registra 4 procesos por robo, extorsión y delincuencia organizada. • José Elías Zabala Muñoz, 24 años. #Ecuador #Seguridad #LosTiguerones #PolicíaNacional #Operativos #Guayaquil #Manta #SantoDomingo #ÚltimaHora

9 DETENIDOS Y 13 ALLANAMIENTOS EN OPERATIVOS SIMULTÁNEOS EN SANTO DOMINGO, MANTA, GUAYAQUIL Y PEDRO CARBO. En la intervenciones ejecutadas por la Policía Nacional en los distritos Santo Domingo Este, Manta, Nueva Prosperina, Modelo, Durán, Portete, Pascuales, Pedro Carbo, entre los detenidos fueron capturados dos individuos de Interés Penal Relevante que registran un total de 7 procesos judiciales entre los que se encuentran tráfico ilícito de sustancias catalogadas sujetas a fiscalización, microtráfico, tenencia de armas de fuego, extorsión, intimidación, robo de vehículos, robo a locales comerciales, entre otros delitos conexos, quienes utilizarían prendas y motocicletas con características similares a las fuerzas del orden para cometer actividades ilícitas. Estos delincuentes pertenecen a Los Tiguerones y son responsables de un asalto perpetrado por falsos policías en local comercial, ocurrido el 29 de diciembre de 2025, específicamente en la plaza comercial “Costa Brisa” de la ciudad de Guayaquil. DETENIDOS 1.CUSME PALLAROSO Jhonny Alexander, alias Jhony *IPRR*, ecuatoriano, 31 años, registra 03 detenciones por asociación ilícita y robo. 2.SALCEDO RAMOS Ralph Santiago, alias Ralph *IPRR*,ecuatoriano, 27 años de edad, registra 04 procesos judiciales por receptación, tráfico ilícito de sustancias catalogadas sujetas a fiscalización y robo. 3.INTRIAGO FIGUEROA Jordy Guillermo, ecuatoriano, 31 años de edad, registra 03 procesos judiciales por tráfico ilícito de armas de fuego, armas químicas, nucleares o bilógicas y robo. 4.CHAVEZ MENDOZA Carlos Antonio, ecuatoriano, 32 años. 5.NAVARRO LÓPEZ Alex Luis, ecuatoriano, 40 años. 6.PINCAY HOLGUIN Eduardo Luis, ecuatoriano, 37 años. 7.ZAMBRANO MONTAÑO Diego Ely, ecuatoriano, 23 años, quien registra 01 proceso judicial por extorsión. 8.PORTILLA ZUMBA Henry Joel, ecuatoriano, 30 años, quien registra 04 procesos judiciales por robo, extorsión y delincuencia organizada . 9.ZABALA MUÑOZ José Elías, ecuatoriano, 24 años. Estos sujetos fueron puestos a órdenes de la justicia para el proceso pertinente. They don't have to leave their jobs to go on benefits though. There are in-work benefits such as universal credit which many migrants will qualify for when they get ILR based on their low earnings. Charities like IPRR are making the case for access to benefits for migrants.

"Out of the total number of children in very deep poverty, nearly half (46 per cent) are children in migrant families." The IPRR does note however that NRPF isn't absolute and many foreign nationals can still claim benefits after applying for a "change of conditions".

"Migrants [make] up around a third of children in destitution" The IPRR blames "disadvantages" they face such as no recourse to public funds.

For the first time I'm seeing mainstream left publications seriously tackle the growth and popularity of the new Western Right, and try to address the challenges they face. Today's "Facing the Future: Progressives in a changing world" report by the IPRR is well worth a read for everyone on the right to see this change in thinking. The authors don't quite get it yet, but the change in analysis is substantial compared to a couple of years ago and it's vital that we see where they're heading in order to stay at the crest of the wave of change. A couple of snippets: "Progressives all too often appear as defenders of a status quo that people have lost confidence in, instead of an alternative to it. We have been forced into a mode of reactivity and self-defence against incoming fire." "The centre-left meanwhile finds itself in an identity crisis. Can it keep a progressive agenda relevant in the face of opponents who operate outside the traditional constraints of mainstream politics? The answer often seems to be no." The whole report is worth a read.
