The final session of the first day of the Regional Workshop on Rural Livelihoods consisted of breakout group discussions involving SRLM teams, the NMMU team, and other key stakeholders, facilitated by respective SMDs/CEOs. The objective was to collectively reflect on the challenges encountered during program implementation and to suggest improvements in strategies, processes, and guidelines to address these issues effectively.
The discussions were organized around four key themes:
a) Producer Groups, Producer Enterprises, and Federations—including livestock federations—led by Ms. V. Karuna, IAS (Andhra Pradesh SRLM);
b) Integrated Farming Clusters and related approaches, led by Ms. Divya, IAS, SMD (Telangana SRLM);
c) SVEP, MED, OSF, and Enterprise Incubation, led by Ms. Sreevidya, IAS, SMD (Karnataka SRLM);
d) Marketing strategies and interventions, led by Ms. Shreya P. Singh, IAS (Tamil Nadu SRLM).
