Guided by a united government and a shared national vision, we remain steadfast in our commitment to ensure that every promise made to the people of Kenya is honoured and fully delivered. Our development agenda is people-centred, inclusive and firmly anchored on accountability.
It was a profound honour to engage with more than 960 women, youth and persons with disabilities in Kwanza Constituency, Trans Nzoia County. This meaningful engagement reinforced a fundamental truth: sustainable and transformative development must begin with the people, particularly those who have historically been marginalized. Our discussions focused on inclusive growth and the imperative to protect and uplift widows, orphans, persons living with disabilities and other vulnerable members of our society, because true national progress cannot be achieved if any Kenyan is left behind.
Earlier, alongside leaders from Trans Nzoia County, we held consultative engagements with His Excellency the President @WilliamsRuto to ensure that the county is firmly integrated into the national development agenda and adequately prepared for his forthcoming visit. Unity of purpose among leaders is not optional; it is a national duty. When leaders stand together as one, development is accelerated, equitably distributed and sustainably realized.
As a government, we continue to implement transformative projects aimed at improving livelihoods, expanding employment opportunities for our youth, and uplifting households economically. Within the @Environment_Ke , I am championing practical, results-driven interventions including tree growing, climate-smart agriculture, waste-to-wealth initiatives, and the promotion of green enterprises. In close collaboration with the Ministry of Housing, we are deliberately creating green jobs that safeguard our environment while generating sustainable incomes.
Health remains a cornerstone of our national development agenda. The rollout of the Social Health Authority marks a significant milestone in ensuring accessible, affordable and quality healthcare for all Kenyans. During his visit, His Excellency the President is set to commission critical infrastructure projects, including roads, water systems and healthcare facilities, delivering tangible outcomes that will directly enhance the quality of life of our people.
Together, let us safeguard our environment, protect the vulnerable, empower our youth and build a united, resilient and prosperous Trans Nzoia County.
