Different minds drive better science 💡
At the Max Planck Society, researchers are building NeurodivergNet — a network supporting neurodivergent employees across the Society.
Inspired by the experiences of Andrew K. Schulz, a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, the initiative aims to foster community, psychological safety, and more inclusive research environments.
“Be curious, not judgmental.”
From quiet rooms and structured meetings to multilingual resources and peer support, NeurodivergNet highlights a simple but powerful idea: when people can work without masking, creativity and collaboration thrive.
Because neurodiversity is not separate from science — it is part of what drives it.
