Chapter 5 is a Wrap!
This weekend, I wrapped up Chapter 5: How Can Inquiry Drive Religious Literacy? โ part of my forthcoming
@RoutledgeEOE, Bringing Religious Literacy to the Classroom: Global Competence for Kโ12 Social Studies.
This chapter connects the Inquiry Design Model (IDM) with the Cultural Studies Method to show how inquiry can deepen understanding of religion as lived, diverse, and dynamic.
It also features IDM blueprints of my new World Religious Traditions inquiry units (Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, and Sikhi), which help students challenge stereotypes and build empathy through evidence-based exploration.
Inquiry is how curiosity becomes understanding. ๐โ๏ธ
