If You Believe This Woman, Your An Idiot, Labor Will Do Anything To Get IntoPower, Buy Hook Or By Crook. Don’t Be Scammed, No Way AreThey Going To Force Rents Down, They Will Go Up, With Fewer Landlords.
So typical of misguided Labor policy having the exact opposite effect of what they intend.
Labor’s policy will just suppress supply and push prices even higher.
No mention of reducing immigration intakes - which increase demand and push rents higher. Instead Labor are pushing for higher immigration intakes.
No plans for decentralisation to strengthen regional towns where supply of new housing can more easily be expanded. Instead Labor are pushing for Australians to be housed in high rise city apartments - making a home with a backyard unaffordable for most families.
Like everything, Labor’s feel-good policies will just make the problem worse.
