Declaration of the existence of a group of Arab tribes of Khuzestan
For Iran, for solidarity and for freedom.
We, a group of descendants of the Arab tribes of Khuzestan, including Bani Tamim, Bani Ka'b, Negrav, Bani Tarf, Al-Akhawayat, and Shahi, understanding the historical sensitivity of the present moment and relying on our ancient and unbreakable connection with the pure soil of Iran, hereby announce our presence and solidarity in the Iranian national movement.
Khuzestan, this bustling borderland, has been struggling for years under the rule of the Islamic Republic with discrimination, imposed poverty, environmental crises, and widespread repression. We believe that the suffering of the people of Khuzestan is not separate from the suffering of our other compatriots in Sistan, Kurdistan, Azerbaijan, and the heart of Tehran.
Our principles and goals
National Transition
We demand a complete transition from the Islamic Republic system to a secular democratic government based on the free will of the people and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We firmly emphasize the preservation of Iran's territorial integrity and national unity. We reject any call for separatism that is the enemy of the security and peace of the people. Iran is our common home for all.
• We consider our cultural identity and diversity, while preserving our Arabic language, customs, and traditions, to be the cultural richness of Greater Iran, and we believe that in tomorrow's Iran, the rights of all ethnicities and languages will be guaranteed within the framework of national unity.
• Supporting the Transitional Leadership
We, along with other national forces, support the pivotal role of Prince Reza Pahlavi as a symbol of unity and a person who can provide a broad umbrella for the national coalition to overcome this crisis.
• Social and economic justice in Khuzestan must benefit from its wealth for the prosperity and well-being of its children, which will only be achieved under the shadow of a compassionate national administration.
We call on all our Arab brothers and sisters and all Iranian peoples to stand together on this fateful path to reclaim our homeland.
