Exposure Visit: Strengthening Community Systems to Address GBV The Chhattisgarh SRLM team visited Ranchi district (Ratu & Mandar blocks) on 12–13 March for an exposure visit to understand the Gender Resource Center (GRC) system and its functioning. During the visit, the team learned how Badlao Manch, GPP, VO SAC, and CLF SAC work together as a community-led system to address and reduce Gender-Based Violence (GBV) at the grassroots level. They also observed how GRCs function effectively with the collective support of SHGs, VOs, CLFs, and the administration through the advisory committee, strengthening the overall grievance redressal mechanism. Cross-Learning in Ghana 🇬🇭🤝🇹🇿 Our Saving Lives and Livelihoods (SLL) project team, with support from the @MastercardFdn, joined hands with implementing partners and stakeholders from @AfricaCDC, @wizara_afyatz, @mohznz1 @ortamisemitz, and Regional Medical Officers (RMOs) from regions where the SLL project is implemented both mainland and Zanzibar🇹🇿, for a rich cross-learning experience in Ghana 🇬🇭. From adult immunization 💉to Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) 📊 and community health 🏥, the team exchanged lessons, challenges, and success stories all with one shared goal: strengthening policies, improving programmes, and scaling up immunization efforts back home. IGAD Land Governance Team Begins Learning Visit in Ghana 🇬🇭 The IGAD Land Governance Unit has officially kicked off its Regional Learning Exchange of National Land Commissions in Accra, Ghana, hosted by the Ghana Lands Commission (@landscommgh) Day 1 featured a series of high-level engagements aimed at deepening peer-to-peer learning on effective land governance systems: •Courtesy call at the Ghana Lands Commission Head Office to set the tone for the exchange. •Meeting with Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah (MP) (@ArmahKofiBuah) Ghana’s Minister for Lands and Natural Resources to discuss Ghana’s journey in modernising land administration. •Technical session at the Land Use and Spatial Planning Authority (LUSPA) highlighting spatial planning reforms. •Concluding the day at the Office of the Administrator of Stool Lands (OASL) for a detailed technical presentation and institutional visit.
