I did the math: since Metformin is only for the acute infection (and only for ppl who are overweight), we are left with only 3 drugs, which means:
66% of the drugs covered by insurance for #LongCovid in Germany are antidepressants.

after 2.5 years(!) the “expert commission” has released a list of meds that can be prescribed and covered by insurance for #LongCovid: 2 antidepressants, Ivabradine, Metformin, the latter only for ppl who are overweight.

Coming back home from the accessible cottage has been a huge shock to me
No longer can use my wheelchair to get about my house when the extreme fatigue & pain is unmanageable
No longer being able to go outside in my wheelchair by myself (would wheel up to the communal picnic area and watch the sunset
No longer being able to sleep in a bed
I feel like I’ve once again lost the freedom that the cottage gave me
My home is not wheelchair accessible

Around this week ,4 years ago, I’d rung the GP surgery , to get blood test results .. satisfactory, no action required
I then tried so hard to get an another urgent appointment , for the relapse in various symptoms & new onset intermittent numbness in my left foot
No urgency to get me seen, no urgency to try to help me
There were no appointments until the end of the month
On this evening 4 years ago, my leg went to give way with a new sudden pain, I went to fall
There was NOTHING put into place should something was to go wrong
We have been treated as #CollateralDamage & #LeftToRot!

Can’t believe it’s been a year since AstraZeneca announced the global withdrawal of its COVID vaccine—quietly, and with little accountability. While they walk away, we’re still here: families grieving loved ones, individuals living with life-altering injuries.
We were told it was safe and effective. We did our part for the greater good. But when things went wrong, we were abandoned—left to fight for recognition, support, and justice.
It’s time to stop turning away. The vaccine injured and bereaved deserve more than silence. We deserve to be seen, heard, and helped.

It’s coming up to the 4th year anniversary of being #VaccineInjured
Still nothing is being done to give us adequate treatment to get us well again
I’m finding anniversaries , even any medical appointments triggering my #MentalHealth
In January @WelshGovernment had a chance to start trying to help us
The petition that myself and with the support of many others reached just over 11K signatures
6 months stress of trying to get that petition seen
Going out of my comfort zone & telling my story to @MrsLund1 , who has supported me in so many ways
But the @SeneddPetitions chose to close the petition with no further action , nothing
Health in Wales is the responsibility of the Welsh Government , they don’t have to wait for any covid inquiry to start to create a pathway for #VaccineInjuries
We have been #LeftToRot , treated as #CollateralDamage
For the time being, I’ve lost my energy to fight
I’ve given up asking for help from the #NHS , from Welsh Government because I can’t do anymore hoping, then for my hopes to come crashing back down
My mental health is totally broken
