Have you registered to be part of a transformative movement through the Less Steps for Water Run. Across many communities, the access to clean and safe water remains a daily challenge, often requiring long and difficult journeys for one to have an access to clean water. This initiative seeks to reduce that burden by bringing sustainable water solutions closer to children and families, improving their health, education and overall well-being. In Lower Yatta, Kitui County: 🔹25,500 people. 🔹 9,504 of them are children. 🔹Only 14% of households have water within their compounds. 🔹 53% of the community depends on seasonal, unprotected water from River Tiva and River Athi. 🔹In Masimba and Kithiani, there is no reliable safe water source at all.
