Well I see the skill required but frankly I still think back to the 20th Special Operation Squadron flying our support at MAVC/SOG CCS Ban Me Thuot, Vietnam in 1969. Those guy's flight and fighting skills were of another world they almost acted as ground based weapon support teams in close in fighting and frankly that is how we thought of them. They saved countless recon teams in a highly classified part of the Vietnam conflict.

Morbilidad similar pero elevada en ambos brazos → selección cuidadosa del paciente es mandatoria 3️⃣ Mutaciones somáticas KRAS/BRAF en la vía MAPK-ERK identificadas en MAVc esporádicas abren dianas terapéuticas moleculares: trametinib, sotorasib, dabrafenib y bevacizumab como potenciales terapias farmacológicas dirigidas (EMBO Mol Med 2026) 4️⃣ ARUBA extendido (Lancet Neurol 2020) confirma superioridad del manejo médico vs intervención en MAV no rotas (3.4 vs 12.3 por 100 pac-años; HR 0.31). Pero: MAV rotas con drenaje venoso profundo localización profunda = riesgo anual >30% → intervención indicada 5️⃣ Enfoque multimodal individualizado: Spetzler-Martin I-II → microcirugía ± embolización; SM III pequeño → radiocirugía; SM IV-V → manejo conservador salvo aneurismas intranidales.
