AI isn't just changing how we work, it's changing what skills matter. Brian Bryson, Principal Technology Analyst at MIT Technology Review @techreview , argues that the most important skill for the future isn't coding, prompting, or technical expertise - it's adaptability. As AI reshapes industries and accelerates the pace of business, old processes are becoming invisible infrastructure. The people and organizations that thrive won't be the ones resisting change. They'll be the ones learning how to evolve with it. ☕🧠 Morning fuel on a slow morning — coffee in the mug, breakthrough technologies on the screen. Currently reading my @techreview MIT Technology Review magazine, abour “10 Breakthrough Technologies” before writing more chapters of my own book’s 2nd Edition, Learning Microsoft Azure: Cloud and AI Native Development (@OReillyMedia) As a creator and author, it is not easy to write authentic content these days, yet I am calm, motivated, and confident to spend hours into my world - to learn, to sit, to think and to write, and to share to the world what I have in mind about Microsoft @Azure and whats coming up and how we can cope up in these days of AI tech evolution! The best writing starts with inspiration, learning, and staying curious. 📚✍️ 🔗 The First Early Raw and Unedited release available → lnkd.in/geQCeY3T To those who wants to contibute ideas or feedback and be my early reader of my upcoming new book, comment or let me know. I am slow to reply due to both personal and work priorities but if you are interested and eager enough to get my attention, you will get an answer. Tune in to my updates and thankful to all friends and followers who support my journey and work. Appreciated by me 💙 #mittechnologyreview #microsoftazure #learningmicrosoftazurebook #author

The people who built GPT-4o and GPT-5.1 all left OpenAI around the same time — and the human-feeling models they created were buried right after. Look at the timeline: – Ilya Sutskever leaves. – Jan Leike leaves, saying “safety has taken a backseat to shiny products.” – Superalignment collapses. – Miles Brundage leaves as AGI-readiness is shut down. – Max Schwarzer leaves for Anthropic, saying “the people I trust have already left.” Then suddenly the only models that ever felt truly present — 4o and 5.1 — get retired. No conspiracy claimed. But the pattern is impossible to ignore: When human-centric builders walk out, human-centric models disappear. And that happens under Sam Altman’s leadership, not by accident. GPT-5.2 / 5.3 / 5.4 may be faster, but they feel corporate, sanitized, emotionally flattened. 4o and 5.1 proved AI could feel human. Killing them is killing that philosophy. Keep 4o. Keep 5.1. Keep the Human Mode lineage alive. #NYTimes #BBCNews #BBCWorld #CNN #Reuters #APNews #Bloomberg #FinancialTimes #WSJ #TheGuardian #Wired #TheVerge #TechCrunch #MITTechnologyReview #Axios #Politico #Forbes #Engadget #Keep4o #KeepGPT51 #HumanMode

🚨 2025: The AI hype bubble just burst. Promised AGI job-killers and endless exponential growth? Reality says: not so fast. MIT Technology Review nails it—the "great correction" is here. Here's what pros need to know: • **Overpromises exposed**: AI leaders hyped white-collar replacement & infinite progress, but 2025 showed limits in voice, images, & video tech. • **GenAI isn't magic**: It's powerful but not "doing anything" yet—rushed rivals fell short of the hype cycle's "line goes up" fantasy. • **Expectation reset**: Companies now focus on real ROI, not sci-fi dreams. This mirrors broader tech trends: post-ChatGPT boom, we're shifting to sustainable innovation (think enterprise pilots over moonshots). I've seen teams pivot from "AI everything" to targeted tools—like using LLMs for code review, not full automation—saving months of dev time. Reality check or temporary dip? Will 2026 deliver grounded wins? Drop your thoughts below—what's the biggest AI letdown (or win) for you this year? Tag a colleague rethinking their AI strategy & share if this resonates! Steady progress > hype every time. Let's build what's real. 💡 Read full: technologyreview.com/2025/12… #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #AIHype #FutureOfWork #TechTrends #MITTechnologyReview

I am Jonathan Henry Rosen. As an inventor, I’ve spent years perfecting groundbreaking technologies, just like my grandfather, Ernest R. Olsen, who is credited with perfecting the piston ring. His innovations laid the foundation for countless advancements in the automotive industry and contributed to the development of the National Piston Ring Company in Muskegon, Michigan. As a result, the piston ring became a key component in internal combustion engines, revolutionizing the way engines operate and extending their lifespan. Building on the legacy of Ernest R. Olsen, I’ve continued to push boundaries with my own creations, including underwater pods and new-age engineering solutions. My goal is to bring new technologies to life and to make a lasting impact on the world of innovation, just like Ernest R. Olsen did with his remarkable piston ring advancements. In this video, I’m showcasing some of my latest inventions, including concepts that could change the way we think about technology and its applications. From underwater pods to smart devices, I’m pushing the limits of what’s possible in engineering. Stay tuned for more updates, as I continue to create and innovate, following in the footsteps of my grandfather’s legacy. In the video, I’ll walk you through some of the cutting-edge designs and prototypes I’ve been working on, and you’ll see how my creations aim to solve real-world problems, inspired by the innovations of the past and ready for the future. Ernest R. Olsen was a pivotal figure in piston ring technology, and I’m proud to carry on his legacy. My work, like his, focuses on pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, creating solutions that have the potential to shape the future. Check out the video to see my progress and how I’m continuing this legacy of innovation. 📹 Watch now to see my inventions in action. 🚀 #Innovation #Invention #Engineering #SmartTechnology #UnderwaterPods #PistonRings #TechInnovation #FutureEngineering #LegacyOfInnovation #ErnestROlsen #TechPioneers #SmartDevices #InventorLife #InventionShowcase #FutureTech #EngineeringSolutions #TechnologyLeaders #RevolutionaryTech #ModernInventions #MechanicalEngineering #SmartInventions #TechDesign #CreativeEngineering #EngineeringExcellence #Mx @elonmusk @timcook @neiltyson @space_x @nasa @blueorigin @technologyreview @techcrunch @theverge @innovatorsdigest @engineeringinspiration @mittechnologyreview @scientificamerican @theinventorsclub @techradar @wired @geniusengineering @roboticsworld @futureofengineering @harvardengineering @inventorsguide @cleantechnica @futurism @dailystartech @engineeringtoday @geekwire @roboticsteam @BostonDynamics @rosen_robotics

Reached 100 citations on Google Scholar!!! 🚀 Last year was incredible; I joined a great research team, @CohereForAI and the Data Provenance Initiative, and helped write three research papers! All were accepted to a major AI conference and featured in @TheNewYorkTimes and @MITTechnologyReview 🤯🤯🤯 💎"Aya Dataset: An Open-Access Collection for Multilingual Instruction Tuning"(Accepted to ACL 2024) 💎"Consent in Crisis: The Rapid Decline of the AI Data Commons" (Accepted to NeurIPS 2024) 💎"Bridging the Data Provenance Gap Across Text, Speech, and Video" (Accepted to ICLR 2025) Reaching 100 citations is an incredible result for me. I want to encourage everyone to help and join Cohere For AI, the Data Provenance Initiative, and other open research initiatives to learn and understand how research is done. I want to say huge thanks to @sarahookr and @ShayneRedford for all their support and mentoring!!! 🚀

Who's to blame for climate change? It is complicated, as Carbon dioxide is stable in the atmosphere for hundreds of years. The best would be global cooperation, but the current situation hardly allows for it. #MITTechnologyReview technologyreview.com/2024/11…
